02 1.8 TDCi glow-plug warning light problem - arnold2 : OK, My local garage (non-Ford) has been trying to sort out a problem on my TDCi Focus - namely glow-plug light coming on/engine cutting out. The fault codes are p1200 - injector/wiring/ecu, and p0251, wiring/injector pump/ecu. !!!PROBLEM SOLVED, I HAVE REBUILD ALL INJECTORS AND PROBLEM IS GONE. The glow plug loom was replaced and also the main loom the joins off the plastic block where the glow plug loom joins. The total cost was around 500 quid. Been to ford x2 but they could'nt find a fault and it worked perfectly all the time "typical" lol strangely it only happens when my mrs has been in the passenger seat <_< Also it works fine for days after a 50+ mile run, couldn't say if it works after a 49 mile run as I zE1z7.
