I tried playing Fortnite with an old controller of mine (mad catz ctrlr micro) and all the buttons seem to work but the triggers aren't being recognized at all. I tried old fixes like closing auto rotate, closing accessibility still nothing.
In marketing the controller, both Backbone and PlayStation made it clear that it’s not meant to be a mobile DualSense, but I still couldn’t help but feel disappointed. It’s a Backbone
NOTE: Ensure that the batteries are not in the controller when you do this, and allow the controller sufficient time to dry before reinstalling batteries. Turns out I just didn't pull in hard enough and underestimated the resistance the controller has. But yeah, the pc plugin isn't as polished. I heard it uses audio signals in order for the controller to change resistance so hopefully we see steam or ds4 take advantage in the future.
Look for Death Stranding: Director's Cut and select the game. Do not press Play/Stream when trying to select it. Click on the Settings button. It looks like a cog/gear. Go to Properties. Go to Controller. Under "OVERRIDE FOR DEATH STRANDING: DIRECTOR'S CUT", click the drop down box and select "Disable Steam Input".
